Meet the Chicago Regional Volunteer

I grew up in California, and got my first taste of winter while studying studio arts and art history at SLC. I followed up my BA by moving even further away from home, to get a Masters degree in Art Conservation at Queen's University in Ontario. I moved to Chicago in 2010 for a postgraduate fellowship at Northwestern, and stayed in Chicago, despite the snow, for my current job as a book and paper conservator at the University of Chicago Library. My favorite Chicago restaurants are Lula Cafe, Mana Food Bar, DMK Burger Bar, Flying Saucer, and too many others to list! I also love the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Lakefront Trail, and Jackson Park. I look forward to meeting other SLC alums and hearing your event ideas at alum@sarahlawrence.edu.
