1) How much does Reunion cost?

A La Carte Pricing:
Seminars, meals, housing, and local tours have reservation fees and you can sign up for them "a la carte." The cost of the activities, seminars, and tours ranges from "free" to $25. The cost of meals and cocktail parties ranges from $15 to $60. The cost of housing on campus for one night is $45. We also offer package deals for staying on campus multiple nights.

One-Stop Registration Deal:
This payment option allows you to register for all Reunion events and meals (including three nights of housing on campus) for one price of $300. If you are celebrating your 5 year Reunion, the price is $200.

In March, you will receive all the event details and costs in our Reunion Brochure along with a registration form that you can mail back to SLC. You will also be able to register online.

2) I really want to go to Reunion, but it's not my "Reunion year." Can I still go?

OF COURSE! Reunion is open to all alumni and their guests. The more the merrier! This year alumni with class years ending in 4 and 9 will be celebrating a milestone reunion. Come help them celebrate!

3) If I choose to stay over on campus, where will I be? What can I expect in my room?

We house alumni in Rothschild, Andrews Court, and Slonim Woods. The rooms are single dorm rooms. This means that there will only be one single bed in each room. Your room will have one set of linens and towels. If you tend to get chilly in the evening, we recommend bringing an extra blanket.

4) What's the best way to get to campus from the airport, train station, bus station, etc.?

We will have shuttle buses running from the Bronxville Metro North Station to campus throughout Reunion weekend. For suggested methods of getting to campus from airports and AmTrak stations etc. please visit our directions page.

5) I would love to see certain faculty members while I'm there, how can I arrange that?

Simply let us know who you'd like to see by completing the following web form and we will pass the message along to the Professor. (Web form coming soon!)

6) I'd like to bring my kids to Reunion, is that OK? What about other guests (spouses, friends, family)?

OF COURSE! Feel free to bring any guests of any ages. Please note that the College does not provide childcare during Reunion.

7) I lost my SLC sweater, will I be able to get a new one?

Yes! The bookstore will be open throughout the weekend and they have some fantastic SLC duds!

8) I love the library and can't wait to see it, will it be open?

It wouldn't be a real trip down memory lane without a visit to the library. And this time, you won't have the stress of conference work! The library will be open throughout the weekend. You'll also be able to use computers and printers.

9) I work out a lot, what are my options?

We've got you covered. The Campbell Sports Center (including the pool) will open during Reunion. Also, when the weather's nice, there's nothing like a jog around beautiful Bronxville!

10) I hear the Pub will not be serving food during Reunion, where do I eat?

The Reunion program includes meals for the weekend. You will be able to sign up for these meals when you register. You can also purchase snacks at the bookstore. If you'd like to venture into Bronxville, here is a list of recommended restaurants.

11) I'm a performer and/or visual artist, I'd love to share my talents at Reunion. Is that possible?

YES! We love showing off the talents of our alumni! Visual Artists can show their work in the Alumni Art Exhibit at the Heimbold Visual Arts Center. For more information about the submitting your work please visit the Alumni Art Exhibit Web Page. Performing Artists can share their talents in the Alumni Cabaret in Reisinger on Friday night. For more information about the performing in the Alumni Cabaret please visit the Alumni Cabaret Web Page.

12) Can I see who else is coming to Reunion?

Yes, our website is the place to go for this information. In the Fall, we will post a list of alumni who plan to attend Reunion. In the Spring, that list will be replaced with a list of alumni who have registered for Reunion and confirmed their attendance.

13) I want to make sure there are a lot of people from my class. How do I do that?

We want that too! One great way to help is being Reunion Volunteer. Each class has a group of volunteers that help encourage attendance for Reunion. They send emails, make calls, and reach out to friends via social media to help guarantee a good class turn out. If you'd like to be a Reunion Volunteer for your class please contact dshaheen@sarahlawrence.edu. If you're not sure you want to be a volunteer, you can still encourage friends by reaching out to your personal networks and sharing your Reunion enthusiasm on Facebook. For a list of class Facebook groups click here. The most important part of encouraging attendance is leading by example. If you register for Reunion, your friends are more likely to register for Reunion!

14) I love Sadie Lou and want to do something special for the College. Any ideas?

We love you too! Reunion Volunteers also work on fundraising for a class gift to the College. To make a gift towards your class gift please visit http://slc.edu/give . To become a Reunion Volunteer and assist with fundraising please contact dshaheen@sarahlawrence.edu.

15) Some of my classmates didn't even know about Reunion, what's up with that?

It's probably because we don't have the most current contact information for your friends. Please encourage them to contact our office at alum@sarahlawrence.edu with their most up to date home address and e-mail so we can make sure they receive Reunion materials.

16) I'm in, where do I sign up?

Great! In March, you will receive all the event details and costs in our Reunion Brochure along with a registration form that you can mail back to SLC. You will also be able to Register online at the SLC Alumni Web Site. In the meantime, keep up with us at http://alum.slc.edu
