Do you know an adult who has considered returning to college to complete their BA ?

Did you know they have access to a Sarah Lawrence College education? Please share with them that the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) is still accepting applications for spring 2014 admission into the Adult BA Completion program. For over 50 years, the Center has been preparing adults to begin or resume their educational careers. Designed specifically to help adults make the transition to academic life, CCE allows students to begin their studies in small classes with adult peers. A flexible, individualized program means there is no long list of requirements. And students receive individual one-on-one support from our faculty, ranked #1 in the US by The Princeton Review. To learn more, contact one of our staff members: (914) 395-2205 • cce@sarahlawrence.edu or at www.slc.edu/cce.

Nominations for Alumni Citations Sought!

Eighteen years ago, the Sarah Lawrence Alumni Association established an annual recognition program to honor outstanding Sarah Lawrence alumni. Nominations for the citations are sought for all alumni celebrating a milestone Reunion in 2014 (class years ending in "4's" and "9s."). All nominations are confidential.

The Citation for Achievement is given to a person or persons whose work embodies the values and ideals of a Sarah Lawrence education, with the understanding that there is no one yardstick for achievement. The Alumni Citation for Service is presented to graduates for dedicated service to the College.

The Citation Selection Committee will select the recipients from the nominations. Citation Awards will be presented on Saturday, June 7 at a celebratory luncheon during Reunion 2014.

Submit a nomination for the Alumni Citation!

Homecoming Victory and More SLC Sports News

In front of a Homecoming crowd of more than 400 fans, Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball cruised past Pratt Institute, 72-43, in a non-conference game at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Friday. Sarah Lawrence (2-2) took control early, building a 7-0 lead to start the game. From there, Pratt (2-3) never closed the gap to fewer than four points.

In other sports news, three Sarah Lawrence College student-athletes have been honored in the latest edition of Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference awards for the period ending November 24. For the fourth week in a row, SLC swept the HVIAC swimming awards, with Alexis Bates and Colette Harley recognized as HVIAC Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
