Happy New Year from your FSL team. We hope 2014 will be your best year yet. We also hope 2014 will be a wonderfully successful year for The Fund for Sarah Lawrence. Contributions to the Fund provide essential academic and extracurricular resources to the SLC faculty and current students, as well as scholarship support for those in need. All of the aforementioned are game changers for members of the SLC community. So play the Sarah Lawrence Giving Game and donate today. Giving the gift of an education is the biggest win of all. You can mail your contribution to the Fund for Sarah Lawrence to 1 Mead Way/Bronxville, NY 10708; call us [Jody, Indra, Kin, Maria & Jessica] at 914-395-2533 or donate on line at www.slc.edu/give
We are happy to report that the flurry of gifts coming in at the end of this calendar year was enough to rival any snow storm or Nor'easter in 2014. We will report our current status and our quest towards our FSL goal in the February e-newsletter. Until then thank you for dedication to and support of Sarah Lawrence and for those in 4s and 9s remember that Reunion is only five months away.

Nominations for Alumni Citations Sought!

Eighteen years ago, the Sarah Lawrence Alumni Association established an annual recognition program to honor outstanding Sarah Lawrence alumni.

The Citation for Achievement is given to a person or persons whose work embodies the values and ideals of a Sarah Lawrence education, with the understanding that there is no one yardstick for achievement. The Alumni Citation for Service is presented to graduates for dedicated service to the College.

Nominations for the citations are sought for all alumni celebrating a milestone Reunion in 2014 (class years ending in "4's" and "9s."). All nominations are confidential. The Citation Selection Committee will select the recipients from the nominations. The Citation Selection Committee may choose to award between one and three citations in each category per year, or exercise the option of not selecting anyone to receive either citation in a particular year.

Citation Awards will be presented on Saturday, June 7 at a celebratory luncheon during Reunion 2014.

Submit a nomination for the Alumni Citation!
