GIVE TO SLC

FSL Donate Now Button

February may be the shortest month of the year, but your FSL Team continues to be busy beavers, or should we say busy ground hogs. Wrapped in a Valentine's hug, we send a great big thank you to our alumni who donated in the first half of our fiscal year. To date we are a shade under $2,000,000 and will cross that threshold earlier than recent years. The Ravens may have won the Super Bowl but our engaged and motivated students and our Princeton Review # 1 ranked committed and passionate faculty are the big winners when you donate to The Fund for Sarah Lawrence (FSL).

Before you sit down to watch the Grammys or the Academy Awards, we nominate you to participate in the 2013 FSL. We can't promise your favorite actor, musician, movie or song will win, but we can promise you won't have to endure a lengthy acceptance speech from us! You can mail your contribution to the 2013 Fund for Sarah Lawrence to 1 Mead Way/Bronxville, NY 10708; call us at 914-395-2533 or donate on line at www.slc.edu/give

Though the month is short, the FSL team is long on gratitude for your dedication to and support of Sarah Lawrence.  Thank you!

Katie Lippa '95 announced the publication of her first book, Hiding in Water: A Memoir Based Mostly in Reality. In the years before she was born, author Katherine Lippa's father co-founded a group in which the participants believed they could levitate and move buildings with their minds. Young Miss Lippa was a willing participant in the experiment until the day she came to believe that her "powers" caused an unforgivable tragedy. Told with a surprising amount of humor and insight, Hiding in Water uses its unique platform to share a universal story of reconciling belief with reality: belief in ourselves and in others..
