New on Campus: The Remy Theatre |
Last year, Josie Merck ’69 made a generous donation to cover the relocation, restoration, and reconstruction of what was originally the open-air O’Neil Amphitheater in Cos Cob, Connecticut that was slated for demolition. Named after former theatre faculty member and award-winning children’s book author and illustrator Remy Charlip, the Remy Theatre will be the stage for a reading by writing faculty member Jeffrey McDaniel '90 during the Saturday night cocktail reception at Reunion weekend. Read more about how The Remy Theatre came to the College in the spring issue of Sarah Lawrence magazine. Meet us at the Remy during Reunion 2019—register today!

Last Word: After being in [Philip Ording’s “The New Elements: Mathematics and the Arts”], I wouldn’t be able to not think about structure and pattern and form in dance...It doesn’t have to do with numbers, but it’s math. When you start to think about pattern and form and an internal structure—that’s choreography.
