Sunday September 15
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Join us for a fascinating walking tour where you'll discover the life of pirates and the inhabitants living in the scrappy Dutch colony of New Amsterdam, long before New York was New York. Historians Alexandra Delare '10 and Jonathan Anderson will be your guides. Step into the wooden shoes of the early settlers and see what life was like being an employee of the Dutch West India Company. Based on exciting new research that has taken place over the last 35 years, you'll hear a brand new side of this brave new world like you've never heard it before. The tour will meet just outside Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park, the Southernmost tip of Manhattan, and work its way up to Wall Street, exploring everything in between. Participants will walk one mile with flat terrain. Space is limited.

Thursday September 19
8:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Join us for a revival production of Robert Anderson's "I Never Sang for my Father" a moving and perceptive work by one of America's most distinguished playwrights at The Chain Theatre (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). This timeless play probes into the disquieting alienation that can exist between father and son - an estrangement that, despite the best intentions of both parties, is often deepened with age and unhealed by time. We are offering a limited number of tickets at a discount. There will be refreshments after the show sponsored by Rebecca Kelly '94.
